What Does a Business Lawyer Do?
What I do is I help business owners from startup to wrap-up. The idea is to help them with forming a business, drafting contracts, leases, and when they decide they want to retire, I help them exit, whether it be by selling out to family or employees, or to a third party. I help people as – I guess the best way to describe a business lawyer is a trusted advisor. I don’t become the business owner; I’m there to give advice and counsel. That’s kind of in a nutshell what a business lawyer does.
